      Verdict

Meyandi was still beaten 19 lengths when second in a Southwell maiden in May but Luv U Whatever was only beaten a nose on his first run for Marjorie Fife at Doncaster earlier this month and will be fancied to go one better. The booking of Simon Walker for Elusive Cowboy could be significant while Jersey Jewel will surely have benefited from her belated reappearance at Lingfield. ART OF SWING was third over 1m4f on soft going here in May and jockey Ross Birkett has a good record in amateur races on this track. Gary Moore’s charge gets a tentative vote to open his account on Turf.
