In depth

Verdict

Gone Cloudy is interesting given that the race is in aid of the fund set up for Nick Mitchell's former boss, however the form of CAROLE'S LEGACY's first run over hurdles looks rock solid and she gets the vote over Tara Two Hills and Over Sixty. The form of the selection's debut run at Huntingdon has been well-franked and this daughter of Sir Harry Lewis looks sure to appreciate the longer trip today. The stable continue in good form and as a half-sister to the widely-touted Mad Max, exciting times lie ahead of the family. Over Sixty ran a blinder behind Golan Way in a Cheltenham Grade Two last time and she shaped as if she wants a sterner test of stamina which she gets today; she has a little to find with the selection on bumper form however. Cool Friend and Delays Expected have both shown ability, whilst Easter Legend and Mewstone both won well on debut. Each has a penalty today but it would be unwise to take their challenge lightly. Tara Two Hills was a cheap purchase but unbeaten in two bumpers she could play a hand on her hurdling debut, but in a decent race it is Carole's Legacy who can score.
