Verdict

Disappointingly just the four runners line up for the opener in which it is hard to get away from ZED CANDY, who is likely to be at prohibitive odds and he gets the verdict ahead of Burnbeck and Baskerville, who looks the main threat. The selection was nothing out of the ordinary on the level but is already seemingly better at the winter game having earned a rating of 127 and he is taken to resume winning ways today. Malcolm Jefferson's Burnbank was better than Zed Candy on the flat but has shown no sign of ability over hurdles, while Crazy Bold has plenty of improvement to find to trouble the selection. Baskerville has struggled under his penalty in two starts since winning at Limerick and may have to settle for minor honours again here behind Zed Candy.
