PURSUING STEED remains nicely treated on the back of successive victories, hallmarked by a telling turn of foot to put matters to bed. He's clearly not ground dependent and is again partnered by Charlie Bennett, who is enjoying a really good 2017. Delfie Lane should give another solid account for the in-form Richard Hughes team but the one who appeals as a major threat is Stanley. He's been noted staying on steadily on his last two starts and should be well suited by this track, although the drop back to 7f is a concern. Papou Tony, in good form on the all-weather, will be a danger if equally effective on grass, whilst Diable d'Or showed some promise last time and could be one to watch.
