This looks a straightforward task for PIOUS ALEXANDER. Eddie Lynam’s filly is a half-sister to five winners, including smart sprinters Dandy Man and Anthem Alexander. Lightly-raced, she had no luck in-running in a Listed race at Cork earlier this month and should open her account here before going on to better things, though won’t be much of a price. Evies Wish ran well in most starts last year but was beaten 10 lengths on her reappearance at Carlisle. Sammyjade was placed four times in her first season but tailed off at the Curragh earlier this month and none of the others make much appeal.
