In depth
Verdict
Sterling Dot Com, Annie Buyers and Bathwick Annie look the main protagonists in this competitive novices handicap chase and we will side with Sterling Dot Com. The gelding from the Phillip Hobbs yard was a good second behind Lucky Leader in a similar contest and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Annie Buyers rates the main danger she has won her last two races in good style and defeated The Extra Man last time. However as a consequence she is rising in the weights and that may just find her out. Bathwick Annie is also worthy of respect she defeated Our Kev in good style last time but is another that may be in the handicappers grip. Of the remainder Java Sea is sure to strip fitter than when fourth behind Calling Brave last time but in a tight affair we will side with Sterling Dot Com.
