Verdict
Pharoh Jake narrowly beat QUICKASWECAN in soft ground over track and trip a week ago. But the latter is much better off on today’s terms and Milton Bradley’s charge is taken to reverse running. Angel Way went close at Salisbury in soft going last week but Lady Mcguffy is raised a grade having finished runner-up at Bath recently. Sir Geoffrey won off a higher mark at Catterick last year but Putemintheboot’s only win so far came on the Fibresand at Southwell.
