In depth

Verdict

This looks tricky as most of these have shown that they will handle conditions. Federici and Vieux Lille have alternative engagements at Haydock but the former would have claims if turning up. Shotgun Paddy is well treated but that’s been the case for a while. Grand Vision returned from a break to win over a shorter trip at Lingfield but this is a much tougher assignment. DAKLONDIKE is only five and still improving. He’s gone up another 7lb for winning at Wincanton but can take that in his stride. Knockanrawley was just beaten on heavy ground at Ayr and is a dour stayer so will enjoy this test while Wuff ran well for a long way at Bangor and will strip fitter today.
