Verdict

Though Neon Moon got off the mark over fences at Ludlow in October, he’s been well beaten twice since off this sort of mark. WALKING ON AIR, a winner over hurdles here last year, makes his debut over fences after a break but might have the class to prevail despite conceding 18lb to the Chepstow winner Ballycamus. Golden Son’s run at Aintree wasn’t his form while Passing Well followed up a second at Ascot with a victory at Lingfield so can’t be ignored. Moon Hunter showed promise at Cheltenham but then ran poorly at Exeter.
