    Verdict

A winner at Uttoxeter and Doncaster last year, VICTOR HEWGO went close to carrying a double penalty to victory over track and trip on his reappearance. He found only Indian Castle too good but has little to beat in this and can go one better. The latter is trained by Donald McCain so he must consider Alls It Is capable of better than he's shown so far and the debutant New Vic is worth a second glance as he's a brother to a winner over hurdles. The remainder have yet to record any worthwhile form, although Yukon Delta has been placed in point-to-points.
