Verdict

BRIGHT APPLAUSE scored at Ripon on Tuesday but a penalty is halved by Dale Swift's claim. He's also dropping down a grade which should make the task of following-up easier and he can confirm superiority with third-placed Coax. Guga has been getting closer as he slips down the weights but still looks some way from winning while Politbureau can be given an outside chance on last year's placed efforts. The same comment applies to Henrys Gift who should have come on for his recent reappearance at Hamilton.
