Verdict
Adjuvant debuts on the all-weather having won over 1m6f at Newmarket last time and both he and Nathanael Greene were beaten by the latter’s stablemate POST IMPRESSIONIST (NAP) at York in October. William Haggas' charge steps up in trip for his reappearance but his dam won over hurdles and there looks plenty more to come from him in staying races. Omniscient is related to a useful stayer and is also upped in distance on his seasonal debut while Golden Rules returned from a lengthy absence with a victory over 2m at Kempton, though this is much tougher. Calling The Wind ran a fine race at Ascot last week when finishing ahead of Law Of The Sea and Zoffee while Rajinsky finished fourth in this last season with Rainbow Dreamer, Sir Chauvelin and Themaxwecan behind.
