Verdict
Shimmering Sands won a lower grade contest at Doncaster and is 6lb higher while Cockalorum and Innse Gall are others upped in class on the back of decent efforts. Qaasid has been in the mix since scoring over track and trip early in the year while Persist returns to action with a shout only 2lb higher than last season’s success at Haydock. NOBEL has been rested since fading badly in the closing stages on his reappearance at York in May and the dual novice winner gets another chance to fulfil last year’s potential on his second start after wind surgery.
