    In depth

    Verdict

Kilconquhar escaped a penalty for a win here two runs ago but found one too good last time and is 5lb higher for this. Kaafy was placed yet again at Wolverhampton while Phantasmal went close over 7f here. Northern Charm has been thereabouts at Southwell lately and Penny Pot Lane won at Pontefract last month but has yet to win on the all-weather. BLUE DAWN has the most scope and, if settling better after finishing fourth at Kempton on her handicap debut, Ed Walker’s filly should be thereabouts at the finish.
