        Verdict

        This looks to rest between Spider Music, Northern Minster and Jodante, with the first named getting the vote. It is quite a weak handicap, so although Spider Music has been thrashed on his last two outings, he should still have enough class to out gun these. The pick of his form last season was a fair third to Sh Boom at Huntingdon, form that would be easily good enough to land this prize. Jodante is in receipt of four pounds from the selection and needs to step up on his recent novice hurdle form. Northern Minster is the only one of these that can boast recent winning form. The victory came at Catterick back in November when beating Sir Homo.The top-weight in that contest was only rated 82 so that shows just how weak an event it was. So not a race to get too involved in but Spider Music could just have the edge.
