        Verdict

        Spiritofthenorth, the only four-year-old in the line-up, is 0-14 and has had enough chances though he's consistent enough at this sort of level and should reach the frame again. The Godolphin entry Wild Lion hasn't run since last summer when fourth at Newmarket so that's an obvious concern and WILLARD CREEK can make his fitness count. David Barron's charge made a belated debut at Redcar a month ago when an eye-catching third and is taken to get off the mark. Biplane was a 150/1 chance on her debut for new connections after arriving from France but belied her odds by chasing home the long odds-on Star Jewel, who won again on Saturday.
