    Verdict

Newmarket Warrior has slipped to a fair mark and has been standing dish here down the years. He looked as though his turn was approaching again when only beaten a length last time but his yard remains out of form in general. Hunters Step has an absence to overcome but is another past winner on the straight course and the pick of Nigel Tinkler’s two runners on jockey bookings. BLAZING DREAMS won off a pound higher mark over track and trip in January and benefited from a return to a mile here last month when only a head behind Newmarket Warrior. He may well have won had he got a clear run and compensation awaits. Lukoutoldmakezebak may be best of the rest.
