Verdict
Archive is a jumper and scored over fences at Ayr in November. Amuletum made a promising debut at Dundalk for Michael Halford but never really got involved on a return visit while Finisher ran quite well on his debut here in September and will probably have needed the run at Chelmsford last month. SPORTSWRITER cost 100,000gns and is bred for pace though he started out over an extended mile at Wolverhampton and looked very inexperienced. He'll have come on for the run and gets the nod over Hugo Palmer's newcomer Morning Skye, who is the brother of a winner and half-brother to seven more so was surprisingly picked up for E10,000 as a yearling.
