      Verdict

      Tommy G won a Class 2 handicap at Goodwood last summer but is still a maiden on the all-weather after a dozen starts. Pea Shooter ran poorly at Wolverhampton last time but his earlier form on this track puts him right in the picture. He was conceding 2lb when beaten a neck by Another Angel here last month and can take his revenge on these slightly better terms. FAIR COP looked a smart sprinter when last seen in the summer of 2017. She wouldn’t be coming here after such a long break if not thought ready to do herself justice and she gets the nod. Deeds Not Words has managed to win 15 races though not at this sort of level for a very long time.
