        Verdict

        Eldorado Creek ran well enough in the Chesham at Ascot without ever looking like getting involved in the finish but disappointed in soft ground at Ayr and drops back down in trip. DESERT SPORT ran well over 6f at Ascot on his latest start and, with an apprentice’s 5lb allowance in his favour, Robert Cowell’s colt may prove good enough. Judy Woods may improve for the extra furlong here after a modest debut at Beverley while Chipping and Ascot Day are newcomers to keep an eye on in the betting.
