In depth

Verdict

Prince Evelith and Irelands Cross renew rivalries and the former should come out on top. Prince Evelith started at longer odds of the pair when they previously met but can rate as an unlucky loser as he did not get the clearest of runs on debut. Irelands Cross is slightly favoured at today's weights but its worth remembering that he had already run before that meeting. Flying Clarets has ability and should be the benchmark for this race. Connections will be hoping that he settles early. Great Tidings was outpaced on debut and should improve for further. Hunting Haze looks exposed but Darryll Holland appears an interesting jockey booking. Prince Evelith can improve and gets the nod.
