In depth

Verdict

Point-to-point winner Donny Boy made a winning debut under Rules when landing a bumper at Kelso in good style. He has obvious claims if taking to the larger obstacles but FEARLESS ACTION gets another chance. The latter was denied by only a head at Sedgefield on last month’s hurdling bow and Chris Grant’s charge can go one better. Paddy The Horse drops down in trip after placing over 2m4f at Carlisle while Rory And Me finished second at Wetherby when last in action. Andante should improve on last month’s hurdling bow at Hexham and may prove best of the rest.
