Verdict
Scala Regia and Forest Angel are handicap newcomers to consider having both shown in ability in maiden races and Magic Journey posted his best effort so far when third at Wolverhampton last time. The latter is preferred to Lady Volante, placed in a seller on her latest start, but it’s worth sticking with AFRICAN GREY (NAP) in this. David Barron’s charge made a winning reappearance in an apprentices’ handicap over course and distance just six days ago and should go very close again having escaped a penalty.
