Verdict
Clock Chimes and Van Velde are unexposed but the former has his first run away from Southwell. The latter makes more appeal having already finished second over 6f here. CHAMPION HARBOUR won over a mile here in May and is only 2lb higher. He’s been placed three times over this trip so heads the short-list ahead of Zamjar, who has been running better than recent form figures would suggest and has been eased in the weights. Hemingway probably needs to drop a few more pounds while Portledge has become disappointing.
