Verdict
Ferdy Murphy has his string in good form at present so Moonlit Harbour has to be respected on his reappearance but Wild Cane Ridge was the better hurdler and is preferred with Eskimo Pie rated the best of the rest. The selection lacks a recent outing but trainer Len Lungo has had a few winners of late and the son of Roselier has always looked a chaser in the making. Having shown progressive form over timber last season, including on a soft surface, he is taken to make a winning chase debut. Do Keep Up has chasing experience but needs to improve to trouble the selection, while former pointer Wee William may appreciate today's softer ground than on his rules debut when an encouraging second. This looks tougher though and a bigger threat is likely to come from Eskimo Pie, who showed decent form over hurdles last term and would have claims if fit enough for his return. Wild Cane Ridge has an obvious chance on the pick of his hurdling form though and is taken to make a winning chase debut.
