In depth

Verdict

A poor start to proceedings but something has to win and the principals look to be Rocket Bleu, Volcano Snow and Denby and the vote goes to Rocket Bleu. The selection won well on his debut when defeating Altitude Dancer before being slightly disappointing on softer ground last time. With the ground now back on the faster side he is taken to score. Volcano Snow rates the main danger as he has shown plenty of ability in two fair bumpers and is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut, so it would be no surprise if he were to win. Denby is another that has shown a modicum of ability but he gave the impression he would be suited by further while his stable companion Sporting Hero weakened quickly at halfway on his debut. Of the remainder Longstone Lass took a heavy fall last time out so looks opposable here and for the winner we return to Rocket Bleu.
