Verdict

Siannes Star completed a double on good ground last spring and ran very well in a jumpers' bumper here last month which will have blown the cobwebs away. Thor De Cerisy does best on very testing ground as he showed once again at Wetherby where he just failed to concede 10lb to the winner. OSCARS LEADER went up 8lb for scoring in a first-time visor at Bangor but won even more easily at Sedgefield and is up another 9lb - a hat-trick beckons. The four-year-old Scorched Earth, a winner at Catterick in November, didn't enjoy very testing conditions at Warwick last time while Roar hadn't shown much over timber before landing a jumpers' bumper at Wolverhampton. Keyboard Gangster has won in better company from higher marks but that was two years ago.
