Verdict

Although only the seven line up this maiden will make for interesting viewing with CUSTODY the selection. Second last time at Pontefract, Sir Michael Stoute's charge looked ill at ease on the lively surface there when outpointed by Takaatuf, who to his credit had shown a decent level of ability in maidens which have worked out well. Trumpstoo was a never nearer fifth on debut at Beverley and can be expected to have learned from the experience while Bushveld who does not hold any big race entries hails from the Mark Johnston yard who hold a good record with their juveniles at this venue. Tiger Reigns showed some promise over seven furlongs in different ground than what he will encounter today. Fuzzy Cat is a well bred newcomer for whom market support would be interesting but Custody is selected to finally get off the mark.
