Verdict

It's unfortunate that there are only three runners, but it could be a good contest nonetheless. Hazel Reilly is in good heart, coming here on a three-timer. Coole Abbey's win from the subsequent Christie's Foxhunter third, Last Option, reads very well and he's the only course winner in the race. Thosewerethedays was no mug under Rules, having beaten Europa at Kempton as a novice. It is not the easiest to call, but Coole Abbey just gets our nod.
