In depth
Verdict
Frankie Ballou won for the third time in four starts at Sedgefield on Friday but that’s earned him a penalty and elevation to top weight. ORIONINVERNESS (NAP) won off this mark at Hexham just over a year ago. He’s been lightly raced this season but looked to be on the way back last month so gets the vote. Mcginty's Dream was a place ahead of the selection here in February and is a pound better off. He’s been placed since at Carlisle and Hexham so rates a danger. Sharney Sike could also go close if on a going day.
