Verdict
Behindthelines’ run in an earlier race should give a clue to the chances of Arctic Vodka but an opening mark of 120 in handicaps looks harsh. Eastview Boy has won here over hurdles and fences and returned from a lay-off to beat three rivals at Sedgefield. He’ll be tough to beat if stripping fitter today but we’ll give another chance to DEDIGOUT with Hugo Thompson Brown taking off 10lb. Just denied twice in this grade at Ayr before finding Class 2 company too hot at Wetherby, the former Grade 2 winner will never get a better chance to break his duck for Micky Hammond. Un Guet Apens has looked in the handicapper’s grip lately while Barrys Jack has completely lost his way since the autumn but Carlisle specialist Pistol has claims.
