BRIARDALE returned to form with a vengeance when scoring by over seven lengths at Redcar earlier in the week. He’ll be raised by more than today’s 4lb penalty when reassessed and can strike again while the iron is hot. Melgate Majeure beat Vertice over track and trip in January and can figure ahead of Zabeel Star, who has been racing over a mile, while both Despoina and Clifftop Heaven had form at the track last season.
