In depth
Verdict
The drop into selling company should be enough to see Pension Fund get his head back in front, with Dubai Prince the main danger. Mick Easterby's gelding is nine years old now, and hasn't got his head in front for two years. However, he wasn't disgraced in an amateurs handicap at Carlisle last time and a reproduction of that performance would almost certainly be good enough to win this weak race. Dubai Prince has not looked the easiest of rides this season, but the booking of Kevin Darley will help, and he too takes quite a big drop in class here. Greenwood Tree has a chance on official ratings but might not live up to that, while Bold Amusement would certainly have to be considered on his second at Hamilton last time out. However, he has nearly a stone to find with the selection on official ratings, and Pension Fund is hard to oppose.
