In depth
Verdict
Man Murphy was so impressive when defeating Fiori a previous winner on his chasing debut at Kelso he is taken to score again with the longer trip and softer ground sure to bring out more improvement, he will be hard to beat despite his penalty. Sea Drifting looks the main danger on hurdles form notably his second to In Contrast at Aintree, his stable has been quiet of late but if he takes to the fences it would be no surprise to see him go close. King's Bounty was also a fair hurdler and he will strip a lot fitter having ran a fair race when eighth in a handicap Hurdle at Wetherby last time out but he needs to improve on that form to beat the principals in this race. Joe Di Capo won a small hurdle race on this track last season but disappointed after and he needs to improve. Tee-Jay and Shining Tyne also need to improve.
