Justwhateverulike ran a better race last time but the claims of Reckless Venture are preferred with Ben Nelly amongst others considered. Reckless Venture has yet to jump a fence in public but what we do know is that he'll relish this ground and this trip looks ideal on the evidence of his staying on run over hurdles last time. The profiles of Justwhateverulike and Ben Nelly are hardly convincing but the latter was in the process of posting an improved performance until falling at half way last time. Quite a bit has to be taken on trust but he has more to offer as a chaser. As a half-brother to the smart Baby Run, Sol Run deserves a second look on his chase debut but he has yet to show a semblance of his sibling's ability. Doris's Gift is a must for any short-list as he's been well backed on a couple of occasions and is still unexposed but preference is for Reckless Venture.
