In depth

Verdict

Norman Mason and Red Emperor are in good form of late although the gelding has raced predominantly on softer ground and this quicker surface may not prove ideal. Back on fast ground Woodfield Gale must come into consideration and could run well at a decent price while Board Walk is erratic but is still learning the game and is one for the short-list. However the one they all have to beat is top-weight Joint Account who bounced back to form at Market Rasen last time and the second home, Carlton Cracker, has since found the winner's enclosure at the same track.
