          Verdict

          East Cape had Pension Fund behind when possibly given too much to do when a strong finishing runner-up in a similar event on heavy ground at Haydock last time. The five-year-old is equally efffective on this quicker surface and looks a solid each way consideration in a tricky contest. Noble Cyrano is in good heart at present and scored for today's rider at Pontefract last month and was then far from disgraced under the same pilot next time but Market Avenue now looks a shade high in the weights and Analyze has become disappointing of late.
