Verdict
Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be The Miner, Scotmail Lad and Tin Healy's Pass and the narrow nomination is given to The Miner. The selection was a fair third behind Ryminster last time out and with the drop in trip looking to be in his favour he looks the one to be on. Scotmail Lad rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Iloveturtle but he is not getting any better at the age of 13 and is taken on with this in mind. Tin Healy's Pass would be a danger to all on his best form but he pulled-up for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the rest, Political Cruise looks on a handy mark and could go well at a price but in a race where few can be ruled out, for the winner we return to The Miner.
