      Verdict

Chief Confidant gets the vote in a competitive finale with Flora May and Briery Breeze also considered. The selection is a well-related newcomer and anything Howard Johnson and Graham Wylie send to post in these type of events has to respected. Her dam won in this sphere and if the market speaks in her favour then it should pay to take the hint. Briery Breeze showed promise when she finished in mid-division behind Valentines Lady in a decent race at Wetherby on her debut. However, her dam showed poor form in bumpers and although she should improve, she is probably one to take on today. Flora May stayed-on well after being outpaced on her debut at Hexham and she could go well with the stable conditional jockey taking off a handy 10lbs. However, she may need a stiffer test of stamina to be seen at her best. Diavoleria hails from a shrewd yard and could be worth a look in the market, but for the winner we are happy to return to Chief Confidant.
