        Verdict

        A competitive finale featuring seven who boast winning form previously over track and trip. Dandy Highwayman and AVENUE OF STARS have already opened their seasonal account and Karen McLintock’s charge is fancied to reverse December’s running with Peachey Carnehan on 4lb better terms – the Mafki gelding has won off a higher mark than this on Turf. Muatadel was just beaten at Southwell earlier this month but his losing run now stretches back to the summer of 2017 and he’ll probably find at least one too good again. Gowanbuster was only fourth here on Friday but the return to 6f will suit. Duke Cosimo looks held on the form book.
