      Verdict

James Ewart's Turbo Island has the highest rating among those to have earned one being rated 120 but the dual Ayr bumper winner, who also won over hurdles at the same venue, seemingly struggled under his penalty at Kelso last time and he may do so again here in a race that is taken to go to CHECKLOW, who gets the vote with Solis rated the best of the remainder. The selection showed a decent level of form on the flat when trained by Jeremy Noseda and should have learned from his hurdling debut at Kelso when fourth, not beaten far, behind Bishops Heir. Chester Lad has shown some ability in bumpers but was been well beaten first time out over hurdles so looks best watched. Nicky Richards has his team in better form now so Glingermill has to be considered and he may do better on this better ground than the testing conditions that he ran on last time. Tim Walford's Fentara ran creditably on his first effort in a Catterick bumper and could be of interest first time up over timber but a bigger threat is likely to come from John Quinn's Solis, who has only had the one start over hurdles but she ran promisingly and there should be more to come from her. Checklow has solid claims after an encouraging first start over timber though and he can open his account over hurdles.
