Verdict

Sheriff Garrett took advantage of a slide down the weights to win at Catterick and is 6lb higher. Curramore has recently switched to last year’s winning yard and can go well in a first-time tongue-tie while Oscars Leader was placed yet again when starting favourite at Sedgefield and finding one too good. Kauto D'Amour also finished second at the same Sedgefield fixture but a chance is taken on SKIDDAW VALLEYS. The latter never threatened when fourth at Musselburgh but drops back down in class for this and Nicky Richards’ charge can go close off his current mark.
