      In depth

      Verdict

Twindego appeals as a likely type for the opener, while Touch Of Ivory, The Osteopath and She's Minnie can pose a few problems along the way. She's Minnie has done very little wrong in either of her last two starts and looks an honest contender for nurseries when they come around. A step up in trip may already be on the cards for this daughter of Bertolini and she is one to bear in mind for a modest contest in the future. The Osteopath caught the eye on his debut and looks a sure-fire improver while his yard are in such good form. Any fancy prices are not likely to be available too long for each-way investors latch on to with him. Touch Of Ivory put in an improved performance last time and she should also be capable of making an impact at this level. She too will be better over further and may be better off when handicapped. Therefore, we switch to Twindego, whose latest start was most encouraging. The Komaite colt handled firm ground well and was unfortunate enough to come up against a couple of potentially smart individuals at Ripon. That form looks a solid gauge at this stage and Twindego is fancied to get off the mark today if he runs anywhere near that level.
