Verdict

Just two non-winners here. Newcomer Bang Tidy is related to some speedy types abroad and hails from an in-form yard as does Kenny Powers, who really caught the eye on his debut at Ripon. Beaumaris won a poor claimer at Beverley but looks capable of better and though Act Your Shoe Size only won a seller at Musselburgh the runner-up has since won easily. Piece By Piece showed a very good attitude on his debut at Ripon and is certain to come on for the experience while Bartley showed the benefit of his opening run on this track with a shock victory at Carlisle last week. PARC DE LAUNAY didn't have too much to do to make a winning start at Ripon but did it nicely despite running green and with better to come he can take an interesting opener.
