        Verdict

        SCALA REGIA made a winning start in handicaps when scoring over track and trip a fortnight ago with Magic Journey back in fifth. Further improvement is expected from Sir Mark Prescott’s filly and she’s preferred to another recent winner in Man About Town. The latter won over 6f here last time but is upped 7lb while Magical Molly Joe goes handicapping for the first time having finished runner-up in a maiden race last month. Kazanan found African Grey too good on her latest start and the latter has been subsequently beaten by the selection.
