In depth

Verdict

ERISSIMUS MAXIMUS was raised only 2lb for winning over track and trip three weeks ago. But a couple of subsequent winners have come out of the race and Chris Dwyer’s colt should have the edge on that form. Imdancinwithurwife made her handicap debut in a tougher contest than this at Wolverhampton and can figure while Major Jumbo should be sharper for a recent return from a lay-off when second at Southwell. Magdalene Fox went close over 6f at Wolverhampton last time having made all at the same track previously so this drop back in trip may well suit.
