In depth
Verdict
Not the best of races but it affords KOOL HENRY a winning opportunity. David O'Meara's colt had run well behind the speedy Es Que Love at Beverley before producing another good effort at Chester. Unless there is something useful amongst the newcomers he can finally lose his maiden tag. Alnair did a little better at Warwick and may improve enough to give a good account while Laffan showed good pace over 6f at Doncaster and should be suited by the minimum trip. The speedily-bred Majestic Manannan, a half-brother to a winning juvenile, may do best of the remainder though Bang Tidy showed some pace before weakening in a much better race won by Parc De Launay here on Thursday.
