Verdict
In a modest race, we will side with Aveiro over I Got Rhythm and Exalted. The selection has been doing well on the artificial surfaces of late and, if you go back far enough, has also proven he acts on good to soft. In what, as we say, is not a strong race, he ought to give us a good run for our money. Of the others, Exalted has won from his current mark, but never over a trip this far, although he does stay the distance. However, he is possibly worth taking on on his seasonal return on going this slow, even though it would be no shock to see him go well in a relatively weak affair. Broughton Knows has been doing well on the all-weather but has never won on Turf, but Mary Reveley's I Got Rhythm, a fair winning hurdler and for whom Kevin Darley is an eye-catching booking, looks set to run well. The rest of the runners, as we say, amount to little more than plating class at best, so, once again, we return to the selection, which is Aveiro.
