In depth

Verdict

Hard To Handel, Sands Chorus and Firmament have all finished thereabouts in this grade before, though the latter is having his first start since December. But a couple of these drop down in class with MARGARET’S MISSION (NAP) preferred to Mukhayyam. The latter ran well for fourth at Ripon last time having slipped down the weights but the former won three times last year, including twice on the old Turf track here. Jim Goldie’s mare was narrowly beaten in a Class 2 race at Ascot on her return and gets the nod in this. Darrington has also been keeping better company and the drop back in distance should suit.
