Verdict

TED'S BROTHER is at the top of his game and won over C&D under similar conditions in June. The form of that race has worked out well and Richard Guest's gelding has won at Doncaster since. Though climbing the weights, he has Paul Hanagan on his side in this and should take all the beating. Monel has struggled against the handicapper since notching a double at Ayr but Paul Pickard's claim should help him here and Jim Goldie's gelding makes more appeal than Lady Gar Gar and J R Hartley, who are both out of form.
